We all have inertia because we are made up of the earth, and the earth has inertia so we are reluctant to change because change has to overcome resistance.
It is entirely possible that you are better at the skill that you have chosen. Probably you have fallen in love with the skill that you wish to enhance.
The old-school wisdom says
“Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life“.
Falling in love is the greatest thing before you can actually become a master, and create a masterpiece, but if you are still unnoticed by the people then there are only two possibilities: either you are not better enough or you have chosen the wrong skill.
